Compassion

We want you to be able to eat what you love. We know it can be difficult to find gluten-free, celiac-friendly, plant-based desserts, so we make food for everyone to enjoy.

We believe in taking care of Mama Earth. We strive to make choices that will minimize our environmental footprint and positively impact our communities, from sustainable packaging to composting practices to ethically sourced ingredients.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.—for all living things. We’re animal rights advocates and support local Farm Sanctuaries, Wildlife Rehabilitation facilities, as well as nonprofits focused on workers rights, social justice, and equity like Centro De Trabajadores Unidos En La Lucha (CTUL) and Midwest Access Coalition

Curiosity

We’re always experimenting and innovating in the kitchen. We make nearly everything from scratch, down to our own vegan butter and creating our own gluten-free flour blends for tender pie crusts and chewy cookies.

We like to have fun. Food is creative expression! From creating exciting flavor combinations to innovating baking techniques— our sense of play and joy is present in all we make. We’ll also bring the party to your party, in the form of wedding cakes or dessert trays.
