What’s in the name?
Lisa and Katherine met at Oberlin College, where they lived in a cooperative called Harkness. In academia, the Harkness method is a discussion-style centered by a round or oval-shaped table—every voice is of equal importance around the Harkness table. We bring that same spirit of collaboration and openness to Hark! Bakery.
